PM Julia Gillard‘s controversial ‘captain’s pick’ in politics

Australia’s Prime Minister has made a surprise announcement that she was backing
Olympic gold medallist Nova Peris for the top spot on the Labor Party’s Senate ticket in
the Northern Territory at this year’s election.
That means for the first time in 112 years the Australian Labor party could have its first Aboriginal member of parliament.
But the move has meant the ousting of long-term Northern Territory senator Trish Crossin, who isn’t going out quietly.
Former national president of the Australian Labor Party, Warren Mundine, says the controversy has the potential to ruin
what should have been a special day for indigenous Australia.
Kathryn Isobel Hay (born 24 November 1975, Launceston[1]) is a Tasmanian Labor politician and former member of the Tasmanian House of Assembly in the electorate of Bass. She was first elected in the 2002 election.

Hay was the first woman of Aboriginal descent to be elected in Tasmania (in her maiden speech Ms Hay points out that her Aboriginal ancestors are Western Australian, not Tasmanian). She was chosen as Miss Tasmania (1999) and Miss Australia (1999).

Ms Hay did not re-contest her seat at the 2006 election. Her term ended when parliament was dissolved on 17 March 2006.

The Captains Pick is basically an erosion of the peoples right to pick their elected servants to serve our country, I have nothing against Nova whatsoeva but i resist the new world,(Old world order) adgenda 21 and the  Fabian Socialist red Masonic Clepto corporate Authoritarian movement amongst our alledged paid servants, how Australians ever agreed to them earning  about $900.0 per week whilst their servants earn that  a  day  it  sort o tilts the tables of justice in the oppossite direction of the public. Big government always leads tomore taxes to pay for people who sit on their asses and talk allday and then get sheauffer  driven around and you and your family pay for all their vehicles  all  their stationary, and do you  remember  Mr Combet and  the 45 public servants he took on  a cruise  at the taxpayers expense?
